NatWest Banking Group required the majority of their banking front end estate to be modernised and refurbished in line with their new corporate style. The works varied from small internal interventions, such as signage and new terminals through to new accessibility ramps for disabled persons and completely re-designed internal layouts.
Many projects required planning permission for new external signage and full planning and Building Control permissions were required for the new extensions. Several of the branches were listed and in conservation areas, so required Listed Building Consent and Conservation Statement Reports in addition.
We were delighted to have been appointed by a Tier 1 contractor to provide Design Quality checks and Design Management Services on a diverse selection of NatWest branches across the UK. Our input assisted in the timely delivery and progress of the schemes. We ensured that quality was maintained in the installation of the new interiors.
